In my International Marketing and Export Management I did a presentation on the economy of Vietnam and came up with a marketing plan for the non profit organization "One Laptop Per Child". The entire class was given the same product to market which was a laptop that runs on solar energy and can be widely distributed even to remote villages throughout the world. This laptop does not require internet access so it is ideal for hard to reach villages where children may have never seen a computer before in their life. The foundation is called "One Laptop Per Child" and it exemplifies philanthropy and ethics in an effort to get every child access to a laptop no matter where they are. Here is my presentation on Vietnam which is comprised of many remote fishing villages that are hard to get to.
